Pan American Fencing Academy online courses are designed to provide the knowledge component of the preparation of professional fencing coaches and to prepare candidates for the examinations administered by the United States Fencing Coaches Association.  In addition, from time to time PAFA will offer short courses in specific areas of importance to coaches as coaching continuing education.  All PAFA courses award continuing education units (CEU), the national standard measure of formal learning conducted outside the college or university setting.  One CEU equals 10 contact hours of instruction.

PREPARATION COURSES:

PAFA100 Assistant Moniteur - designed to prepare the candidate for the written examination required for certification as an Assistant Moniteur.  Course became available in August 2007.  Tuition is $25.00.

PAFA 200 Moniteur - designed to prepare the candidate for the written examination required for certification as a Moniteur.  Course became  available in November 2007.  Tuition is $100.00.

PAFA300 Prevot - designed to prepare the candidate for the written examination required for certification as a Prevot.  Course is planned to be online in February 2009.  Tuition is $150.00.
